Intramural Sports - Besides common sports, there are things like cornhole, pickleball, and co-ed sports! You don’t have to be great because it’s only for fun!
Sorority/Fraternity - There are so many different types that can be geared toward honors, service, religion, or social life.
Student Government - Make an impact on your campus and be an advocate for your peers!
Pageants - Many campuses have small pageants, homecoming courts, and ambassador opportunities.
Tutor - Impart your knowledge on another student who may be struggling! This can be a paid position, and you can make a big difference!
Library or Food Service - Get a job on campus and get tuition discounts and/or pay, along with perks!
Freshman Orientation - Volunteer to be a mentor or student advocate for freshmen and high school campus visits.
Headphones! Sometimes you have to study in a noisy area, and listening to low-fi study music can help eliminate distractions. Mini umbrella! I have to walk a long way to get to class some days, and I would be soaked without my umbrella. Water bottle or mug! Classes can be long and tiresome. Staying hydrated will keep you awake and give you something to do. Phone wallet! You probably don’t want to carry a huge purse around, so using a phone wallet, lanyard, or small wallet for your bookbag will keep your money and cards without the hassle. First aid kit! I always keep a mini one with Band-Aids, safety pins, Tylenol, and small scissors, just in case.
